Such a lot of ground covered in this highly enjoyable conversation with Pei Mun Lim in aid of the Sumaritans.
Topics included:
- What is neurodiversity
- The link between Salesforce and neurodivergency
- A bit of history of diagnosis
- Masking
- Perfectionism
- Anxiety
- Why neurotypical suggestions don’t always work
- And things that have been proven to be really helpful for mental health
All this and more – now available via catchup!

Reflection:I really enjoyed the conversation, more so than if I had had time to “properly” prepare. I’m discovering that, for me, public speaking is a bit like a BBQ. I need time to warm up and prepare my content, but not so much time that I go crazy (something gets burnt – me or the content!). Bonus points if no slides are involved!
The realisation: understanding where my skills do, and do not, lie.
And if you want to show your appreciation, and can afford to do so, here’s the link to support Pei and her fellow volunteers in the amazing work they do.
